SECURING DSR PROTOCOL DEFENDING AGAINST SYBIL ATTACK IN MANET

Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are infrastructure-free in which nodes free to move any direction. These use specific routing protocols that can create a path between not within transmission range of each other. Because MANETs easy configure, they mostly used areas where infrastructure is available, such as military and rescue operations, etc. Due the open approach, always vulnerable external internal attacks Denial Service (DoS), Flooding, Worms hole, Black Gray hole Sinkholes There no central point administration. In this project, we focus on Sybil attack. An SYBIL attack an individual type association layer specially selected mobile network. attack, fake hub introduced has direct reach target. So it collects entire packet from source drops it. Nowadays, very difficult secure network against attacks. The Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) algorithm uses caching concepts store all newly created paths networks. Route aggressively DSR. With routing, possible cache overhead without causing loops.
